Govt. Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital, Lahore was built by Municipal Corporation on land measuring 71 kanals and became functional as a DHQ Hospital on September 01, 1992 with 125 beds. 24-bedded new Emergency Block was established in 2009.
DHQ Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital was upgraded to teaching hospital affiliated with King Edward Medical University on February 15, 2012. Govt. Kot Khawaja Saeed Teaching Hospital is situated in north of Lahore City. This is the only hospital situated in the locality serving population of more than 4.5 million.
