Anaesthesia

The Department of Anaesthesia at Govt. Kot Khawaja Saeed Teaching Hospital is an independent service which aims to provide a high standard of anaesthesia care. The Department is served by full-time faculty members, consultants and medical officers. It provides clinical services to the specialties of general surgery, obstetrics and gynae, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery and emergency cover on a 24/7 basis. The Department also provides sedation and monitoring cover to gastroenterology and radiology departments. 

Future plans include state-of-the-art facilities in ICU, operation theatres and pain management centre along with provision of pain relief services round the clock in obstetrics and emergency departments.
